Mark Klopp

Mark Klopp

Mark Klopp is an independent consultant, board member, investor and advisor. He is a Managing Director with Coronis Medical Ventures and serves as a board member and advisor for several private ventures and Christian ministries. Mark was a Board Member of the National Venture Capital Association and Chairman of the Corporate Venture Group. Formerly Managing Director of Eastman Ventures, Mark started up and led efforts to invest in private companies and had extensive operating roles in international business, sales and marketing. Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Management from Roosevelt University.
Tom Loarie

Tom Loarie

Tom Loarie has led venture backed medical start-ups from concept to commercialization for 30 years, raising over $200 million in both the private and public markets. He began his career with American Hospital Supply Corp (now Baxter) where he rose to division president. Tom currently serves as Executive Chairman, eMedonline; and as a board member for XIP Diagnostics, Clarity Medical Systems, and The ReFocus Group. Tom serves on the Dean’s Council for the Jacobs School of Engineering at UCSD. Tom received his B.S.M.E. from the University of Notre Dame, and participated in graduate business studies at the Universities of Minnesota and Chicago.
Randall Fahey

Randall Fahey

Randall Fahey is an independent technology and business development consultant specializing in digital signal processing and wireless communications.  He also serves as a start-up Mentor with the Silicon Valley-based German Accelerator.   His present focus includes Augmented and Virtual Reality, sensors and wearable devices, and connectivity solutions in the healthcare industry.  A seasoned technology executive, his experience spans design, development, marketing and sales in semiconductors and systems.  Randall honed his international management skills while working in multiple European countries, and he has extensive business experience in Japan and Asia.  He holds dual citizenship in the United States and Switzerland.  Randall holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Randy Haykin

Randy Haykin

Randy Haykin pirouettes between roles as serial entrepreneur, angel investor, venture capitalist, philanthropist, artist and educator. In 1997, Randy co-founded Outlook Ventures; In 2006, Haykin Capital was formed to provide “mentor capital” to early stage entrepreneurs, funding over 30 angel deals to date and in 2011, Randy co-founded a philanthropic venture group called The Gratitude Network and launched the The Intersection Event, which brings together global thought leaders in innovation and social impact. Prior to his investment career, Randy served as founding VP of Marketing & Sales at Yahoo and played early senior roles at Overture, NetChannel, Electric Minds, and AOL’s Greenhouse program, a successful venture incubator. He has also held management roles at Apple Computer and Paramount/Viacom. Since 2006, Randy has taught courses on innovation, entrepreneurship and finance at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and Cambridge U. Judge School of Business.

Dr. Cheemin Bo-Linn brings over 25 years of executive experience in Technology, having served as IBM Vice-President, CMO/CFO of a digital mobile apps company, and Partner for an M&A investment banking firm. She has also served as Board of Director of public and private firms and Advisory Boards across healthcare data analytics, online behavioral medicine, EMR, integrated vascular imaging technologies, and emerging digital technologies. In 2015, she was inducted into the “Hall of Fame for Women in Science & Technology.” Currently, she is CEO and President of Peritus Partners, Inc., recognized for improving a company’s marketing valuation leading to the next level growth or M&A/IPO.

Clifford Tong is the Founder and CEO for Diverse Strategies Inc. (DSI), a management consulting firm in Oakland, California. He has over 20 years of consulting experience with organizations in both the public and private sectors in the areas of strategic planning, marketing, organizational development, finance, and information technology. Mr. Tong has been an angel investor for over 15 years and has helped launch more than 20 startups in a wide range of industries, including Internet, software, social media, healthcare, consumer products, electronics, clean tech, advertising technology, financial services, automotive, and real estate. He is an active member of the Keiretsu Forum, Berkeley Angel Network, and Vancouver Angel Forum angel investor groups, and is a founding Investor Advisor for The Batchery.

Dr. Terry McGeeney

Dr. Terry McGeeney brings almost 30 years of clinical experience as a Board Certified Family Physician in both a rural solo practice and a 200+ physician multi-specialty group where he served as executive medical director participating in the expansion of the group by over 400% during his tenure. Dr. McGeeney was the founder and CEO of the AAFP’s TransforMED working with with over 8000 practices nationally during his tenure. Dr. McGeeney currently serves as the founder and President of Care Accountability, Inc. and a visiting scholar in Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution focusing on Accountable Care Organizations and population health.

Dennis is founder and CEO of iOnTrends, Inc. specializing in business development, sales and marketing consultation for medical devices.  He has served in executive positions at Siemens Medical in the areas of diagnostic and therapeutic devices.  During his management, the company won the California Baldrige Award.  Currently, he is Chairman of the Board for IEEE-CNSV (Consultants Network of Silicon Valley) one of the largest engineering professional consulting organizations.  A wide range of clients including large multinational companies to start-up companies rely on his expertise. He has both a BSEE and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
